Bunk In Program For College Students

|
- Students pursuing Fire & EMS studies
- Attending local colleges
- Free dormitory style housing
- Up to $1000/year in grants towards college expenses
- Recieve credits for answering calls, attending drills, and participating in fundraising activities

- Any full time college student
- Attending local colleges
- Low cost dormitory style housing
- Answer calls, attend drills, and participate in fudnraising activities
- Continue refining your firefighting skills while attending college
|
|
Program Requirements
|
- Currently be an active member in a fire department
- Presently a class "A" firefighter
- Respond to a minimum of 15% of calls per semester
- Meet all New York State training requirements
- Be a full time student at a local college or university (within 25 miles)
- Maintain a 2.0 grade point average
- Be enthusiastic about the fire & community service
