Bunk In Program For College Students

Program #1
  1. Students pursuing Fire & EMS studies

  2. Attending local colleges

  3. Free dormitory style housing

  4. Up to $1000/year in grants towards college expenses

  5. Recieve credits for answering calls, attending drills, and participating in fundraising activities
Program #2
  1. Any full time college student

  2. Attending local colleges

  3. Low cost dormitory style housing

  4. Answer calls, attend drills, and participate in fudnraising activities

  5. Continue refining your firefighting skills while attending college
Program Requirements
  1. Currently be an active member in a fire department

  2. Presently a class "A" firefighter

  3. Respond to a minimum of 15% of calls per semester

  4. Meet all New York State training requirements

  5. Be a full time student at a local college or university (within 25 miles)

  6. Maintain a 2.0 grade point average

  7. Be enthusiastic about the fire & community service
